Voyaqua helps travelers understand and offset the freshwater footprint of their journey. Every trip uses water — from showers and meals to laundry and drinking water — but the real value and scarcity of that water differs greatly from one destination to another.

Through Voyaqua, travelers can turn their water use into a meaningful contribution. The platform uses country-level data on water safety, water stress and local water value to suggest a fair donation linked to the destination visited.

Via this donation form, contributions go to Water for Life Foundation projects. These projects help provide sustainable access to safe drinking water and sanitation in underserved communities. They are implemented in partnership with local water companies and supported by VEI. VEI helps develop and implement projects together with local water companies, while the local utilities take responsibility for operating and maintaining the systems after completion. This helps ensure that solutions are locally owned, professionally delivered and maintained for the long term.
